NDIS - Journey to the NDIS

I helped in creating a 2 minute animation explaining the origin of the NDIS. The style needed to be illustrative and emotive so we used a combination of Photoshop to create the layered images and After Effects to create the piece. Below is a few segments I worked on along with some process images.

Process

The loose style reference for the piece was the band A-ha’s famous “Take On Me” film clip. This heavily influenced the line quality, shading and rendering of characters. Given the leviathan of a task animating a clip like Take On Me would require we chose to create the video out of animated snapshots.
