Breakthru - Logo Animation

The team over at Breakthru got in touch to give their logo a fun and character-filled treatment to their logo.

Process

My first animation pass went with a more classic animation style using simple masking and trim pathing in After Effects. The second iteration called for more character, so I got into each letter’s rotation and position and injected a lot more fun bounce to the motion. I used the gradient underline as a throughline element to start as a free-flowing dot to accompany the first letters entry.
